Our Story
Established in 1998
Prof. Ulhas Bapat, a noted academician in Maharashtra, started Prof. Bapat Academy of English on the 1st of May 1998. A professor of Constitutional Law and a highly passionate teacher of English language, he gained immense respect and admiration from his students and fellow academicians. He started with only 10 students in his first batch. But the high success rate of the students quickly spread the word that here was an Academy which could transform lives by helping them get mastery over the most feared subject; English!
Within a year the Academy gained a strong foothold in the city of Pune and since then there has been no looking back! The other faculty members are the other members of the Bapat family! Prof. Vinaya Bapat, known for her excellent translation works and Prof. Aparna Bapat, a well known name in corporates, took the Academy to new heights.
As the Academy grew in age and numbers, so did its family of students!
What We Offer
At Prof. Bapat Academy of English, we offer the students a chance to learn English in a stress free environment and with the most up to date teaching techniques. Our courses have been tested over time and have proved to be effective time and again. We make use of the latest technology (audio-visual aids) Our classroom is equipped with an air-conditioner. The overall comfort of the students is taken care of. Since all the sessions are highly interactive because of the limited number of students in each batch, the atmosphere in the class is full of energy and fun. You have to experience it to know it!
